Why Edogawa Baseball Stadium Is So Hard to Find

Edogawa Baseball Stadium isn't marked as a named landmark on the map, so it shows up only as a grassy square, easy to mistake for a city park. To make matters worse, the huge, circular Horizon Stadium sits on the far west side of the map, leading many players to drive to the wrong stadium entirely. The in‑game directional hints (“northwest quadrant,” “west side”) all describe the same zone, but without a visual cue they still feel vague.

Step-by-Step Directions to the Stadium

The most reliable way to find Edogawa Baseball Stadium is to start at Tokyo Tower. This landmark is clearly marked on the map as an icon. Once you have Tokyo Tower selected, drive north for about three blocks. You will pass a few intersections until you see a small restaurant icon on the map: that is the Food Delivery job marker.

Immediately north of that Food Delivery job, you will spot a large grassy square. That is the stadium. On the map view, it appears as a distinct green diamond shape, oriented with one point facing north. The stadium sits just south of a wide east-west highway, and right next to a race event called Edogawa Cross Country Circuit.

If you are having trouble spotting the grassy square on the map, zoom all the way in on the northwest quadrant of Tokyo City. Look for the highway that runs east-west across the top of the city. The stadium is directly below that highway, sandwiched between the Food Delivery job and the highway.

Another useful reference point is the Inner City Run Drift Zone. This drift zone is located east of the stadium, near the highway. If you are already near that drift zone, simply drive west along the highway for a few seconds. You will see the stadium on your left as you come up to the bridge.

Here is a quick summary to follow while you drive:

  • Start at Tokyo Tower.
  • Drive north 3 blocks until you see the Food Delivery job icon.
  • Drive one more block north, look for a grassy diamond on the map.
  • The stadium is directly south of the east‑west highway and beside the Edogawa Cross Country Circuit race event.

Watch your minimap as you drive, the stadium's diamond shape will pop up before you see it on the full map.

How to Complete the #PitcherPerfect Challenge

Once you have found the stadium, do not stop at the entrance or pull over on the street. The game requires you to drive inside the stadium walls. There is no gate or barrier; you can simply drive across the grass and onto the baseball diamond itself.

Now activate photo mode. On an Xbox controller, that is the up directional button, but check your control settings if you have customized them. Frame your car with some part of the stadium visible in the background. The validation zone is generous; you do not need to capture the entire structure. One of the bleachers or the backstop will be enough.

Press the shutter button. The challenge should pop up as completed immediately. You do not need to exit photo mode and check the menu; the system registers the photo as soon as you take it.

Your reward will be the Slide Whistle car horn, which replaces your standard horn sound with a comical slide whistle effect. You will also earn two Festival Playlist season points toward the Series 1 rewards track. These points count toward the Winter season total, so do not miss them if you are chasing the seasonal car rewards.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Confusing Edogawa Baseball Stadium with Horizon Stadium is the most frequent error. Horizon Stadium is a huge circular building on the far west edge of the main game map, well outside Tokyo City. Edogawa is a small, square grassy field inside the urban grid. They share the word “stadium” in their names, but they could not be more different in appearance or location.

Another common mistake is taking the photo from the sidewalk or from the street outside the stadium. The challenge validation zone is limited to the interior of the diamond. You cannot stand outside the walls and aim your camera inward. The game checks your position, not just the background.

A third issue is timing. The #PitcherPerfect challenge is available only during the Winter season of Series 1, which runs from June 4 to June 11, 2026. If you are reading this after that date, the challenge will have rotated out of the playlist. However, Playground Games may repeat this challenge in a future series, so the location knowledge will remain useful.

A Quick Two-Minute Task

Once you know the three landmarks (Tokyo Tower, Food Delivery job, Edogawa Cross Country Circuit), the Edogawa Baseball Stadium becomes impossible to miss. Drive north from Tokyo Tower, look for the Food Delivery icon on the map, and then head just one block north. The grassy diamond will be right there, waiting for you. Drive inside, snap your photo, and collect your reward.

Now go grab that Slide Whistle horn, your friends will love (or hate) it.
